  1. Artificial Blood Plays Major Role in Treatment of Various Diseases Such As Diabetes and Chronic Kidney Disease Artificial Blood is a revolutionary concept of blood transfusion treatment, where specifically engineered compounds perform the basic task of transportation and delivery of vital oxygen to the body as a substitute for that of allogenic blood. The engineered blood contains gapped or 'spike' vesicles or capillaries in its blood platelets that enable the blood to circulate in the body more efficiently. It also contains anticoagulant properties that keep the blood thin so that it delivers oxygen to the blood cells. The new technology of artificial blood has come at a time when there is a lot of concern over the risks of many blood-borne diseases due to the increased number of HIV patients and other blood borne infections. Many in the medical field are recommending this alternative to blood transfusion or even to surgery for those who are allergic to blood and are therefore not able to receive blood from the sick. It is said that a huge percentage of the population may be suffering from various diseases may require Artificial Blood. In fact, there are thousands of people around the world who may need this blood substitute due to their various health conditions such as diabetes, chronic kidney disease, Parkinson's disease or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease or heart failure. Artificial blood substitute is not just a handy and portable device but is also highly efficient and safe. It can be used as a source of transplanted or stored blood and is especially helpful in case of emergencies and life threatening situations where live blood transfusions are not possible.
