However, we have also seen a change of captain in the middle of the IPL. Sometimes the captain wanted to give up on himself, sometimes because of poor performance, sometimes because of not being able to play the rest of the matches for some other reason.The captain is the most important member of a cricket team. The Indian Premier League (IPL) is no exception. Here too we have seen the best talented cricketers of the team as captains. However, we have also seen a change of captain in the middle of the IPL. Sometimes the captain wanted to give up on himself, sometimes because of poor performance, sometimes because of not being able to play the rest of the matches for some other reason. In all, there have been eight changes in the captaincy in the middle of the IPL. He became the captain of Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2009. However, the legendary batsman was not having a good time with the bat. As a result, Anil Kumble was made the captain in the middle of the service. RCB also gets his results in hand.
