  2. Introduction • Your parents have just told you that you are leaving everything you have ever known to travel across an ocean to a new land. You can only take certain things with you. You must leave everything else behind. You are now a Pilgrim living in the 1600’s. • You will learn about Pilgrim life in order to write an opinion paragraph.

  3. Task Your Job: • You will learn about what it was like to travel on the Mayflower in the 1600s. • You will learn about what life was like in the new world. • You will take notes about what you learn from each website. • You will write an opinion paragraph stating whether you would have liked to live back then or not.

  4. Process Things To Do: • You will click on the first two websites in order to learn about the voyage on the Mayflower. • You will click on the next four websites in order to learn about life as a Pilgrim. • You will need to print out the Noting Details Worksheet. Use it to take notes from each website. • You will need to print out the Opinion Paragraph Worksheet. Use your notes to write an opinion paragraph explaining whether you would like to live back then or not.
