  2. Introduction Animals are therapist in many way. Therapy animals are trained to provide comfort and support to individuals who may be dealing with physical, emotional, or mental health issues. These animals are often used in various settings, such as hospitals, nursing homes, schools, and disaster response teams. Therapy animals can include dogs, cats, horses, ducks, rabbits, parrots, and even wild animals. They provide emotional support and companionship, helping to lower stress levels, reduce anxiety, and promote feelings of comfort and well-being. They are specially trained, certified and most of the time, supervised by qualified professionals in the field.

  3. Are Wild Animals Also Therapy Animals? Traditional domestic pets are not the only ones who may be used as therapy animals; wild animals can also be employed as therapy animals. Some monkeys are specialized to interact with humans greatly. For instance, it is well recognized that elephants have a specific capacity for relating to people, especially those who are struggling with emotional trauma or mental health concerns. In addition to lowering blood pressure, reducing tension and anxiety, and offering comfort, they offer emotional support and healing. Don’t try to meet the activities without proper knowledge and training! Squirrels, Otters, Lizards, etc are now the pets of humans. There have also been instances where therapy fish, parrots, and bunnies have been employed.
