They are made up of a single piece material, usually metal which is shaped into an angle of right angles. The two ends on an Allen keys are hexagonal. This means that you can choose either end to remove or install an attachment, as long as it's suitable Anchor Bolt Manufacturer How Allen Keys Work Allen keys function as other wrenches and screwdrivers, however with some subtle differences. They are used by putting one of their ends of a fastener inside the hexagonal socket head then turning the key. By turning an Allen button clockwise tightens the bolt while turning it counterclockwise will loosen or eliminate the fastener. If you look at a typical Allen keys, one will find the length of one side than the other. Allen keys are designed to resemble the letter, with the two sides having different lengths. When you twist the long arm and creating more torque, you'll be able to make more and make it simpler to remove or install difficult fasteners. Twisting the short arms, in turn will allow you to place the Allen key in tight space. Benefits of Allen Keys Allen keys are a simple and straightforward solution to the removal and installation of fasteners that have an hexagonal socketed head. They do not require power tools, and neither do they require a specific bit. They're among the most simple tools to use to install and remove fasteners that are supported. Allen keys guard against accidental removal of screws. Because they're used with hexagonal fasteners they "grip" fasteners better than other screwdrivers

Since they're inexpensive, Allen keys are often packed with consumer-built goods. Furniture, for instance typically comes with at least one or two Allen keys. With these Allen keys, customers are able to assemble furniture pieces. Customers can also use the Allen keys to secure the furniture pieces when they need to.
