  6. The Conference Venue Center of Academic Resources

  7. The Conference Venue Chulalongkorn University, by the Center of Academic Resources (CAR), connected the University network to the Internet network since 27 July 1992. Accordingly, Chulalongkorn University is the first institution in Thailand that connects to the internet information highway.

  8. The Conference Venue Today, CAR is equipped with state of the art infrastructure thanks to Global Development Learning Network Project (CU-GDLN) initiated by World Bank. Officially opened on 21 June 2000, CU-GDLN is the first World Bank’s Distance Learning Center in the Asia - Pacific region, along with the one in Singapore.

Academic Presentation • Abstract Submission & Reviewing • Online abstract submission • April – June 2007 • Announcement of accepted presentation • August 2007 • Full paper submission • September 2007 • Conference Proceeding • To be included in the conference proceeding, full paper in camera-ready format must be submitted before middle of November 2007.

  14. Registration • Registration Fee is set at 250 USD • Call for Papers / Call for Participation(Three circulars) • First circular - March • Second circular - May • Third circular - October • Online Registration • 1 June – 15 November 2007

Travel • International Connection • Many airlines have direct flight to Bangkok. • Connection from airport to inner Bangkok is conveniently made by taxi. • Taxi/sky train/subway are recommended for traveling around Bangkok. • Picking-up will be arranged from designated hotels to conference site.

  16. Accommodation • Although the university is surrounded by several good hotels, some with special rate will be short-listed.

  17. Social Programs • Apart from arranged social programs, one can enjoy package tours or self-oriented tours around Bangkok surrounding areas and around Thailand.
