  1. 2010 WARRIORS FOOTBALL ASSISTANT COACHES Jerry Sparks Coach Jerry Sparks is beginning his first football season with the McAuley Warriors. This is Coach Sparks’ first year, however he is not new to the JACS system. In 2009 Jerry was the coach for the St. Peter’s Warriors and has a child in the school system. Jerry Sparks is the son of Lynn and Ralph Sparks and has one sibling, Travis Sparks. He is married to Nanda Nunnelly-Sparks and has three step-children. Jerry was born in Joplin, Missouri and started his academic career at Royal Heights Elementary. After attending Memorial High school Jerry worked at Joplin Cement Co. and coached part time. Coach Sparks recently went back to school to pursue his dream of becoming a head coach and plans to graduate in 2011 from Missouri Southern State University. Isaiah Washington Coach Isaiah Washington brings a wealth of football experience to the Warrior Football team. Washington is in his second year coaching varsity athletics. Coach Washington was born in Fulton, Missori and has played football since 5th grade. He had a great deal of success in prep football where he was named All District Running Back his senior year. Cleavon E. Williams Coach Clevon Williams also brings a wealth of football experience to the Warrior football system. Williams played six years with the semi pro Springfield Rifles. He also played six years with the Joplin Crusaders. In college, Cleavon played for N.E.O A&M where he played in the NJCAA National Championship. Williams then moved on to play and earn a starting role for Oklahoma State University from 1993-1995. Williams lives with his wife Stacey and four kids; Deja-Shea, Alexis, Isabel, and Gabby. Dustin Parker Coach Parker has been with the Warriors for four years. He resides in Baxter Springs, Kansas where he played high school football. Parker has also helped coach the semi-pro Joplin Crusader football team. Aside from football, Parker has coached baseball and soccer at McAuley Catholic High School. 6
