Animation Schemes • Choose from Slide Show menu • Apply to preset elements • Title and blocks of text • Or just text or title • Or slide as well as text • Hold cursor over effect to see summary • Can be consistent throughout • Entire presentation (click Apply to All button) • Partial: Slides that you select….

  4. Selective Animation Schemes • To apply Animation schemes selectively: • Open either • Normal View • Slide Sorter view • Choose the slides you want to affect • Control-click (Windows) • Cmd/Apple-click (Mac) 1: Click 2: Control-Click Or Cmd-Click

  5. With the slides still selected: Click the down-arrow on the task pane (right) Choose the scheme you want Watch the preview Scheme applies only to chosen slides If you want, try another scheme Animation Schemes: Partial

  6. Custom Animation • You control • Select an element and choose • Add effect • Can add entrance and exit effects • Time-consuming • Can be annoying
