  1. The Do's For Driving In The Wintry Months And Dont's Be gentle on the gas pedal to maintain an equilibrium of pressure. While moving upward or downward a steep hill use the lower gears. The roads turn slippery due to snowfall. Never rush even if you are in a hurry and drive slow. Keep a check on the batteries and charge them whenever needed. Keep the car headlights on for oncoming cars to spot you. Wind-shields and rear-view mirrors must be wiped clean to increase visibility. Try switching on the car's air conditioner to clear the condensation from the windows. Keep the front and rear tyres cleaned as the snow and grime make them function improperly. Sand trucks have lower visibility. Be careful while crossing these vehicles. Make sure you maintain a proper distance between other vehicles long before you decide to brake.
