ABOUTUNIVERSITY National Law University, Jodhpur is a public law school situated in the state of Rajasthan and established under the National Law University, Jodhpur Act of 1999 by the Rajasthan State Legislature. NLU Jodhpur is one of the top five among the 23 other NLUs in India. National Law University, Jodhpur is known to have more than 40 permanent as well as visiting faculty members. Besides that, it also has more than 20 research centers where students can carry out research-related activities. Additionally, NLU Jodhpur also has two moot courtrooms which are replica of actual courts.

  5. HISTORY National Law University, Jodhpur was set up in the year of 1999 under the leadership of N.L. Mitra and from then have had three more Vice-Chancellors. The first batch consisting of undergraduate as well as postgraduate students was started in 2001. The graduation ceremony of the first undergraduate batch was attended by Bhairon Singh Shekhawat (the then Vice-President of India ) along with Pratibha Patil (the then Governor of Rajasthan and formerly the President of India). The graduation ceremony of the second undergraduate batch was attended by Shivraj Patil (the Home Minister of India,)

  6. RANKING NLU Jodhpur is known to be one of the best NLUs in India. It is approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI) and accredited by both UGC and NAAC. NLU Jodhpur has been accredited Grade A by NAAC. Additionally, NLU Jodhpur has been ranked 5 by NIRF and 4 by The Week as per 2020 rankings.

  7. COURSES OFFERED Bachelor’s:NLU Jodhpur provides five-year integrated programs in two streams which are B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) and B.B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) that provide the students' knowledge about different subjects portfolios besides helping them to handle situations efficiently. Master’s: NLU Jodhpur provides postgraduate programs which is the LL.M. program in two streams as well- Corporate Laws and Intellectual Property Rights as well as two MBA programs. The duration of both the LL.M. programs is of one year while the duration of the one MBA program is of two years and the other is of one year. Ph.D. programs NLU Jodhpur provides Ph.D. programs having a minimum duration of three years and a maximum duration of six years.
