  2. Introduction NMAT by GMAC is a National level entrance exam. This entrance exam provides admission to top Business Schools across the country. NMAT stands for NMIMS Management Aptitude Test. Earlier it was conducted by Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai. This is a Private Business School in the country and is one of the top-ranked institutes. However, since 2015, Graduate Management Aptitude Council (GMAC) conducts NMAT. Hence, the name NMAT by GMAC. Students who clear NMAT 2021 by GMAC can opt for MBA/PGDM courses offered by NMIMS. NMIMS is a well known Business School in India There are various other institutes that accept NMAT scores other than NMIMS. Students can hence opt for several top-ranked Business schools to kick-start their careers. Around 37+ Business Schools in India accept NMAT scores. 10+ colleges outside India are known to accept NMAT scores. Hence, Students can choose to study abroad too with NMAT scores. Students clearing NMAT can choose MBA/PGDM programs with a wide range of specializations such as Human Resources, Finance, Marketing, Information Systems, Operation and Decision Sciences and Pharmaceutical Management. NMAT is a student-friendly exam. This means they have the liberty to choose their date, time, and venue for the exam.

  3. NMAT EXAM Eligibility Criteria Students must always check the eligibility criteria before applying for an entrance test or institute. It helps to understand whether they will be eligible to take the test or apply to a college. Students should have completed 10+2 level and 3 years graduation or equivalent course for applying to NMAT 2021. Applicants can be from any stream. She/he must have scored at least 50% aggregate in graduation level to opt for NMAT 2021. Students who are in their final year of graduation can also apply. Institutes will grant admission to those students on a provisional basis. Admission will be finalized after submitting the graduation mark sheet and qualifying exam certificate. However, different participating institutes will have different eligibility criteria. She/he must check the individual eligibility criteria before applying to any institute. A student can choose up to 5 colleges while registering for NMAT 2021. There is no age bar for taking NMAT 2021 by GMAC.

  5. NMAT EXAM Admit Card • GMAC will release the NMAT 2021 admit card on the official website, https://register.nmat.org/. Students will need to visit the official website and use their credentials to download the NMAT 2021 admit card. Applicants can follow the steps given below to download their NMAT 2021 admit card. • • Visit the official NMAT by GMAC website, https://register.nmat.org/ and find the link for NMAT 2021 admit card • A new page will open. Students will need to enter their credentials used at the time of application to view the admit card. The credentials include personal email ID and password • The admit card will appear. Students must save and download the admit card for exams and future references. This will be mandatory during the exam • The student must report to the NMAT helpdesk if she/he faces trouble in downloading the admit card or any detail is misprinted. It must be reported and rectified right away. •

  6. NID EXAM Result NMAT by GMAC results will roughly be released 2-3 weeks after the final exam is over. The result will be released for all the candidates. They can view their results by visiting the official website of NMAT by GMAC, https://register.nmat.org/ . However, students can view their individual scorecards within 48 hours of taking the test. GMAC will also notify the candidates on their email ID after the results will be made available. Students can download the results till March 2022 end (roughly). NMAT results usually consist of a scorecard with the marks for every section, the percentile and overall score. The NMAT 2021 results will also be sent to the institutes chosen by the students during the NMAT 2021 online application step. Every institute will have a specific cut-off. The institutes will select the candidate based on their respective cut-offs. Hence, students must make the best use of the 3 attempts provided to them. This will ensure that they can choose to score better in every attempt. This increases the chance of getting into a college of choice.

  7. How to Check the NID Exam Result? Students can view and download their NMAT results from the official website of NMAT by GMAC. They can follow the steps below to download the results: Visit the NMAT website, https://register.nmat.org/ and click the NMAT 2021 Results link A new page will open. The page will ask for credentials. Students must enter their details like login ID/registration number and password (same as application) The results will appear on the new page. Students must download the scorecard and keep it safe. It will be required during the counselling and admission procedure by GMAC official

  8. How To Apply? • he NMAT registration process has begun. NMAT by GMAC has released the application forms on their official website. The forms have been released on 3rd August 2021. Students can follow the steps below to apply and register for NMAT by GMAC. • Students must visit the official website https://register.nmat.org/ and create an account for NMAT Registration with a valid email ID • She/he must provide all details correctly. The details include Personal details, contact information, education qualification, work details if any. Other details include ID proof, programs/courses of interest. The ID proof will be required for verification at the test centre • Students will have to choose up to 5 institutes they would like to apply to. THE NMAT scores will be sent to these institutes after NMAT by GMAC results are declared • Applicants must upload a scanned copy of the recent photograph • She/he must choose a suitable test centre, time and date on the exam schedule link after registering themselves • NMAT application fee must be paid online. An application fee of Rs.2,300/- has to be paid via card only. Options include Mastercard, Debit, American Express, Diners Club, Net Banking or Mobile wallets. NMAT Rescheduling payments will also be accepted online • Students can use their NMAT login credentials to view their application on the website later.

A. You can apply for NMAT 2021 online by visiting NMAT by GMAC official website. Q. 9 What is the syllabus and exam pattern of NMAT? A. The NMAT exam consists of 3 sections, Language Skills, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude. Each section has 36 questions. There are various sub-topics under each section. The exam consists of 108 questions. The total mark for the exam is 360. The duration of the exam is 120 minutes or 2 hours.

Yes, foreign students can also opt for the test. However, they need a minimum of 50% aggregate in their Bachelor’s degree. The applicant can be from any discipline. Q. 13 Who will conduct NMAT 2021?
