  3. ABOUT UNIVERSITY Founded in 2009 National Law University and Judicial Academy is a public law school and a National Law University. The Government of Assam generously funds the Law University. Besides, the University Grants Commission (UGC), the Bar Council of India (BCI), and the Association of Indian Universities all approve the university. The NLUJAA is one of the twenty National Law Universities that have been founded throughout the nation. NLUJAA was founded with the goal of educating students in the area of law. However, students in the area of law may choose from a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate institution. Moreover, NLU Assam offers nine courses in one stream. programmes at the

  4. ABOUT UNIVERSITY The university's goal is to transmit and develop legal education and training at all levels, as well as to attain excellence in the functioning of the judicial institution. Hence, the university promotes legal, cultural, and ethical principles by fostering many disciplines of law. Besides, the university is almost the same as NLSIU, Bengaluru, which has new standards of competence in India and internationally in many areas of legal learning and the legal industry. NLUJAA has been steadily moving forward in its Quest of Superior since its establishment in September 2011. However, students must pass a tough evaluation procedure, Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). On the basis of CLAT students get admissions to national law schools.

  7. COURSES OFFERED To get admission in NLUJAA's B.A., LL.B. programme, the applicant must pass 10+2 or equivalent with at least 50 per cent marks to join this programme. To pursue a specialised LL.M., students must choose at least four of the six options. For entrance to this course, applicants must pass either a 3-year or 5-year integrated LL.B. degree with at least 55 per cent marks. The applicant must also pass the CLAT entrance test to qualify. Eligible applicants for or waiting for the results of the exam may sit for the admissions test if they provide evidence of results at counselling time. PhD is the organization's effort to give legal research greater prominence. Students for PhD can either take full-time or part-time enrollment. However, the applicant must have a Master's Degree in Law with at least 55% marks. Applicants must also clear the University's admission test. Applicants who pass the entry exam and the exempt students will have to present a preliminary plan. The library is a four-floor beautiful structure that spans about 50,000 square feet. NLUJAA has an RFID system to ensure that its services run smoothly. The library also features a unique digital library area on the second storey, which provides users with access to the library's materials. Besides, the library has roughly 20,000 print compilations in various sections, including the Law textbook section, the Social Science section, the Reference Section, and the Back Volume Section. Learners get proper LAN connection in their Hostel Rooms. In addition, the Centre provides 24-hour assistance for network, hardware, and software problems affecting professors, staff, and students.
