Interior Design & Lighting : Ambient & Accent In today’s world where everyone wants to show their house unique and glamours in front of the others for this, they try to decorate their home with different types of light and colours. With the majority of the other stuff like paint, wallpaper, flooring, and furnishing, interior design and many more. But, Sadly though, a single light source can only do so much and the room - despite its lavish accoutrements - ultimately looks bland, flat and lifeless. There is a betters way that room decor looks furnishing and lighting. The way is called layered lighting. We are going to discuss a type of light which we use in our home and office.

It adds a sense of space, creates mood and makes accomplishing tasks easier, safer and quicker. Ambient Lighting:- As the name says ambient provides the light main source of uniform illumination in the home. Cast over a wider area by pendants and downlight fittings positioned in the ceiling. This is the most common component of lighting and is the one you'd expect to see in most homes.

Think walking into a bathroom and to switch on a mirror light so that you can shave, flicking on the small spotlight light above your bed so that you can read, or switching on the downlights underneath your kitchen cupboards so you can cook.
