  1. Mini Dental Implant The IMTEC Sendax Mini Dental Implant that Dr. Gillespie uses was developed by Dr. Victor Sendax and the IMTEC Corporation. These mini implantsare 1.8mm in diameter and are made of a titanium alloy. These “small wonders” were developed in order to provide greater denture stability for patients who cannot withstand the rigors of traditional implant surgery, do not have enough bone to allow for full-sized implants to be placed, or are in on-going therapy from one prosthetic system to another. The non-surgical mini dental implant technology allows for a minimally invasive implant placement technique. There is no gum flapping or sutures as there is with conventional implants.
