  2. This ceremony held on March 2015, was the second edition of the Sur Jyotsna National Music Awards. OjasAdhiya received the award in the male category while PoojaGaitonde received it in the female category. Both are talented artists. The awards included a cash prize of 1 lakh each, a certificate, a shawl, and a trophy. Many dignitaries attended the ceremony including PiyushGoyal,

Union minister for power and coal; HansrajAhir, Union minister for chemicals and fertilizers; ChandrashekharBawankule, district guardian minister; SudhirMungantiwar, finance minister; Dr. RanjitPatil, minister of state for home; Sanjay Rathod, minister of state for revenue; and AmbarishAtram, minister of state for tribal development.

  5. For Darda family, besides Vijay, Rajendra, and Devendra Darda; other members attended also the impressive ceremony. These members included RishiDarda, joint managing director of Lokmat Media; Karan Darda, executive director; AshooDarda, and SheetalDarda. Among the attendees were also Purva Kothari and Sunit Kothari, jewelry designers;

  6. KrupalTumame, Ramtek member of parliament; PravinDakte, mayor; John Abraham, Bollywood actor; Roop Kumar Rathod, noted ghazal singe; SunaliRathod, renowned vocalist; ShashiVyas, member of jury; and GauriYadwalkar from Times Music Company.

  8. Other personalities graced the occasion such as Ramesh Jain, former president of Jalgaon municipal council; VainkunthKumbhar, director of national tourism advisory council; Professor SandeepPisalkar, trophy designer; SnehalJalan, KapilBhalla, JaishreeBhalla, VishalKalantri, and RuchiKalantri.

  9. In order to mark the inauguration of the awards ceremony, the notables lighted the traditional lamp.
