WE ARE COMMITTED TO THE FUTURE Dianova is officially associated with international organizations, which allows for our participation in a variety of discussion forums and debates. Together with other civil society organizations, Dianova representatives advocate for social change, influencing policies that promote health and quality of life, seeking empowerment and revaluation of human beings as a key factor of sustainable, balanced development. Mission: developing initiatives and programs with the objective of promoting personal self-reliance and social progress. Visión:Dianova fundamenta su acción en la convicción que, con la ayuda adecuada, cada persona puede encontrar en sí misma los recursos para lograr su desarrollo personal y su integración social. Vision: Dianova’s purpose is based on the conviction that, with appropriate support, each person will be able to find within him/ herself the resources necessary to achieve success in his/her personal development and social integration. Valores: nuestro marco ético lo configuran los valores de Compromiso, Solidaridad, Tolerancia e Internacionalidad. Es- tos valores constituyen el fundamento de todas las intervencio- nes de la red. Values: our ethical framework and core values are grounded on Commitment, Solidarity, Tolerance and Internationality. These values constitute the foundation for all the initiatives of the Dianova Network. EACHYEAR,AN ESTIMATED 25,000 PEOPLE BENEFIT FROMTHEACTIONS OFTHEDIANOVA NETWORK CADAAÑO, ALREDEDOR DE 25.000 PERSONAS SE BENEFICIANDE LAACCIÓNDELA REDDIANOVA ACTUAMOS LOCALMENTE Dianova tiene establecidas alianzas con redes regionales y nacionales para llevar a cabo proyectos específicos con las poblaciones más vul- nerables incluyendo programas de educación reglada y no reglada, de prevención, de inserción socio laboral, de tratamientos de adicciones para menores y adultos y de desarrollo socio comunitario. Cada año, alrededor de 25.000 personas se benefician de la acción de la red Dianova. WE ACT LOCALLY Dianova has also established partnerships with regional and natio- nal networks to develop specific activities for the most vulnerable populations, including formal or non-formal education and training courses, prevention and social /vocational reintegration programs, addiction treatment programs for adults and adolescents, and social/community development activities. COMPROMETIDOS CON EL FUTURO Dianova está oficialmente asociada con organismos internacio- nales donde, junto a otras organizaciones de la sociedad civil, participa en foros de debates e intercambios, actuando como promotora de cambios, incidiendo en las políticas sociales, en la promoción de la salud y calidad de vida, buscando la potenciación y la revalorización del ser humano como factor clave de un desa- rrollo sostenible y equilibrado. WE WORK GLOBALLY Dianova actively contributes to progress towards the Millen- nium Development Objectives with regards to universal edu- cation, women and children’s health, and the empowerment of women, fostering best practice exchanges and providing solu- tions to real problems. TRABAJAMOS GLOBALMENTE Dianova contribuye activamente en el avance hacia los Objeti- vos del Milenio en educación universal, en la mejora de la salud materno-infantil y en el empoderamiento de las mujeres favore- ciendo el intercambio de buenas prácticas, aportando soluciones a problemas reales. A su vez, desarrolla políticas y prácticas de gestión que fomen- tan el respeto a los derechos humanos y a la protección del me- dio ambiente.
