Dr. Susan Cardenas is an associate professor at New Mexico State University. Dr. Cardenas has served the community in this role since 1996. She has won numerous awards for her service over the years, and is a past recipient of the NMSU Donald C. Roush Award for Teaching Excellence, and of the Distinguished Alumni Award for the College of Health and Social Services—Department of Public Health Sciences.
