It is activated by simply saying or calling out the wake word i.e. Alexa or Echo.

  2. Follow the Troubleshooting Steps in order to Easily Setup the Echo Alexa Device: • Step1: In order to fix this problem you should set up amazon echo and Alexa properly. Install the Alexa app and plug in the echo. • Step2: Launch the Alexa app and sign in to your Amazon account. • Step3: Wait till the orange light lights up on the echo. • Step4: When asked to connect to the Wi-Fi, click the ‘connect to Wi-Fi’ button. • Step5: After this, you will be asked to manually connect to Amazon Wi-Fi. Search for a Wi-Fi name with the words amazon xxx. Here the xxx represents the digits after Amazon. • Step6: After locating it, click on it to connect. Once you connect you will be notified that there is no internet access. Tap this notification and select yes. • Step7: Now select your Wi-Fi and enter the password and hit the connect button. The setup process will take place and once it is done click ‘continue’.
