  2. NIFTY FUTURE • Sensex closed 42.24 points down at 25,838.14, while Nifty settled 12.75 points down at 7,899.30. Nifty ended the choppy trade on a flat note on Friday with marginal losses on account of weak cues from global markets. Depreciation in Indian rupee too dampened sentiments. The rupee depreciated by 14 paise to trade at 66.53 against the US dollar at the time of equity markets closing due to fresh buying of the American currency by banks and importers. Among day’s major market moving events, HDFC Bank reported a 20 % yoy rise in its net profits for the quarte ended March 2016. Net Interest Income too increased by 24 % during the same time period. Asian equity markets ended mostly lower on Friday after US shares halted a three-day winning streak overnight on the back of disappointing earnings updates from some US companies. • Technical views: • Nifty future closed at 7913.35 on Thursday. Nifty break it Psychological level of 7900 if nifty trade above and sustain on that level, nifty may continue bullish trend further, next resistance for nifty may be 7950.   4. BANK NIFTY FUTURE • Bank nifty open flat in the morning and made high of 16758.00 bank nifty shown consolidation and followed the range of 16450-16750. Above 16800 we can see the new level of 17000 in bank nifty soon. SBI BANK (2.98%) and BANK OF BARODA (2.66%) is the top gainers in bank nifty future. • Technical views: • Bank nifty Open down at 16513.00 , to its previous closing 16576.00 on Thursday & trade between the level of 16400- 16800 above that level bank nifty technically may touché the new level of 17000-17300 soon.   6. USD/INR • The Indian rupee opened lower by 11 paise at 66.50 per dollar on Friday against previous close of 66.39. Weak dollar index will help rupee to appreciate. 66.20/dollar will continue to act as strong resistance. Trading range for the day will be 66-66.50/dollar.
