The Story of Turkish Coffee

In 1540, the Ottoman Ruler of the country of Yemen, Ozdemir Pacha, inquired about a couple of hot liquids that the locals made from the beans of a plant. He became the primary Turkish ruler to style occasionally. But, was it what we all know these days to be "Turkish occasional." most likely not. Still, the aroma, if not the style, intrigued the person enough for him to order his servants to tinker with it.
