Biblical Approaches to Money: • From the bible we see money viewed in three perspective: Poverty, Prosperity and steward • The people who subscribe to Poverty gospel believe that, blessed are the ‘poor’ and they solely view riches as a curse. • The believe that they are righteous by being poor • The full subscribe to the statement that: it is easier to a Carmel to go through the eye of the needle than the rich man www.thesobermanafrica.wordpress.com

Biblical Approaches to Money • Those who believe in prosperity gospel view money as a blessing and that God has blessed them because they have tithed • They believe that they have because they have paid their tithes. • They believe that, “you don’t have for you ask not” • The believe that “what they have, is a result of what they ‘sowed’” • Their motive for giving is to receive back, They ‘transact business with God” www.thesobermanafrica.wordpress.com

SAVINGS • It is biblical to save, it is not lack of faith • It is foolishness to spend everything-pro 21:20 • Savings enables you settle emergencies without getting into debt • At least 10% of total earnings should be channeled towards savings. • It is not how much you save, it is how faithful you are. www.thesobermanafrica.wordpress.com
