About Australian Student Visa Requirements Before applying for a Student Visa, you must first be accepted for full time study in a registered course offered at one of the Australian universities. In Australia, the Australian Government department (DIBP) places the responsibility for checking the genuineness of the student and verifying that they will comply with an Australian Student Visa onto the Education Provider. Only when you get an acceptance from an Australian Education Provider may you apply for a Student Visa.

  3. About Australian Student Visa Assessment. The Education provider will assess you on the following criteria: 1. Genuine Student Requirements • Funding capacity to cover the cost of Tuition and living in Australia • IELTS/PTE/TOEFL Score • Academic qualifications as per the course you intend to study • Marital Status • Relevance of the course to the future plans

Subclass 572 – Vocational subclass Student Visa Subclass 573 – Higher Education subclass Student Visa Subclass 574 – Higher degrees and research subclass Student Visa

About Australian Student Visa Requirements You will have to fill in the Australian student visa application form and pay the visa application fee and lodge the Application through Global Opportunities along with a 956 form to the nearest Australian High Commission. After applying, you will then be assessed against a number of factors which will vary according to your Country of Passport and Visa Subclass which is known as your Assessment Level. This might be followed by an interview by a Government official.
