  3. Activities for 2002 • Had two technical meetings at beginning of year (ADSL, DWDM) • Rest of the year focused on organization of CONVETEL III • 155 participants • 24 technical conferences including 3 DLTs • Product Expo with 14 stands Communications Society, El Salvador Chapter

Most Relevant for 2002 • Convetel III • Provided value added services to members and industry • Fortified contacts with local telecom industry • One DLT and two Distinguished Lecturers: • Roberto Sarracco, David Winters, Hikmet Sari • Two financed 100% by local event • Profitable conference, benefits local chapter and section operations Communications Society, El Salvador Chapter
