We enjoy special events such as Bingo, crafts, light excercise sessions, group singing, visits from pastors & churches, all sorts of musicians (all sorts such as pianists, flutists, guitarists), church groups, school groups, gospel groups. We go for rides and outings, even a trip to the ocean! Visitors often comment that it's like being "at home." Horseshoe Pines provides 3 meals a day, snacks, light housekeeping, some assistance with bathing and personal care, supervision of medications, coordination with the doctor, dentist, and other appointments and rides where needed.

3. Horseshoe Pines was carved from a piece of this farm (pictured below) when a local businessman built a house on it, which was later purchased by a second family who had the idea of "Shared Home." Whatever the season, someone is always home at our place. So feel free to drop in if you're passing by, have a cup of coffee, watch the birds and bears... or whatever happens to be in the neighborhood.

4. The reason for this page is in hopes that you might be helped and inspired by the Bible, as we have since we began reading it back in the 1970's. In the late 1960's and early 70's we were wandering, having no idea what was real or what to believe in, when a kindly neighbor lady in a little VT town gave us a Bible. We'd never actually read it, so figured it was about time and then began to devour it. Moved by what we read, we soon accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior and became Christians in 1979.
