Setting aside the obvious issue of growing waistlines and tipping scales, websites have also increased 150 timesin size over the past 20 years. Unlike human obesity, website obesity is actually useful – it makes the customer experience better, but at the cost of performance. As a matter of fact, every change to your website is making it a little bit slower. If nothing is done to these bloated websites, the problem will continue to exacerbate, leading to frustrated users, increased site abandonment, and a decrease in conversions.  Don’t fall victim to website obesity, having users twiddle their thumbs in front of a white screen. Take preventive measures to ensure your website is healthy by ensuring web performance is at the top of your priority list.
