  2. About Jack Kavanaugh Jack Kavanaugh has been working with medical and science technology companies. Jack kavanaugh holds DDS, MBA and BA degrees from UCLA, an MD degree from USC. Dr. Jack Kavanaugh has founded ZetaRx Biosciences, Inc, a company at the leading edge of immunotherapy for the treatment of cancer. Jack Kavanaugh, an ophthalmologist, dentist and entrepreneur based in southern California, support a wide variety of cultural groups, non-profits organizations and charitable events. He is an accomplished medical professional and biotechnology executive.

As CEO and Chairman of ZetaRx Biosciences, Inc, he successfully combined the intellectual property from three globally-recognized health care and research institutions, assembled a highly respected management team, and led the development of the FDA clinical trial strategy. In late 2013, ZetaRx was sold, becoming the core of Juno Therapeutics, which went on to have the largest biotech IPO of 2014.

His interests extend to the developing energy field Jack kavanaugh co-founded Nanotech Energy, Inc., he has licensed from U.C.L.A. leading supercapacitor intellectual property that can markedly expand the high-speed storage and delivery technology of energy at much higher rates than currently available. Jack Kavanaugh relationship with U.C.L.A. has also resulted in the creation of SuperMetalix, Inc., which has exclusively licensed the intellectual property behind the creation of super hard metals more than twice as hard as carbide.

  5. Jack kavanaugh chaired a major event to benefit City of Hope National Medical Center, a Comprehensive Cancer Center based in Duarte, California. City of Hope offers a full range of cancer treatments and services, including screening, medical treatment, and rehabilitation.
