Increase effective utilization of Software AG products by promoting free exchange of information among users through regional meetings and other communications.
Provide vehicle for feedback to Software AG on specific needs brought to the attention of the group.

To ensure dialog between SAG and their customers so that product quality and customer service are increased.What does that mean? Constituents make nominations for positions.
Nominees accept/decline nomination.
Choose election chairperson who is not a nominee.
Elections
Typically for 1-year term.
One ballot should be cast per company/organization present for elections.
Ballots should be counted by election chair and other non-candidate, and announced by presiding officer.

Preside over committee planning meetings;
Work closely with Software AG liaison to coordinate meeting arrangements;
Oversee timely preparation and distribution of user group meeting minutes and announcements;
Manage budget for meetings;
Ensure that members receive reports on conferences, conventions, and other activities directly related to Software AG products and/or company updates;
Exchange information and ideas with other Regional Representatives;
Provide feedback to Software AG on company direction and product enhancements.

Assist the president with duties as he/she designates;
Organize meetings;
Solicit customer speakers and host locations;
Prepare registration information, name badges, and evaluations;
Coordinate post-meeting follow-up, including thank-you notes to the site host and speakers.
