  1. Year 6 let loose on the lea Created by Mohammed Sasha Raif Koysor Marianne Helen

  2. Launch Trip Firstly, we got our lifejackets on, then we got in the boat and the instructors asked some questions – if we got it right we got to steer the boat, we controlled Tottenham lock. Then we drove back, on the way back some boys threw stones at us. main

  3. The rescue boat I was really scared when I got into the boat I thought it was going to tip over. It didn't help when we were on the way back from Tottenham Lock, Rickell nearly crashed the boat it was scary! main

  4. One of our activities was a Nature walk. We looked at plants and other living things around the river. We learnt that the bark of the willow was used to cure headaches in the olden days. Nature walk main

  5. Habitat study • On our walk we saw vibrant colourful dragon flies which were dancing around in the air. main

  6. Rowing • In the rowing boat we rowed (surprise surprise!) It was a sunny day as if the weather had been hand picked for us. This was the way we rowed. • Our group was not nearly as terrified as we had all expected. • It was great!! main

  7. Messing about in boats • I enjoyed rowing the most because it was a new experience to me. • It was tiring but also relaxing in a way. There were four people rowing and one steering. • It took some of us a while to get used to rowing, but in the end it turned out to be excellent! main
