  1. Keith Klouda Prefers the Family Organization Dynamic Pristine Construction & Contracting Inc. is a family business, owned and operated by George Klouda and his son Keith Klouda and serving Nassau County, Suffolk County, Manhattan and the 5 boroughs of New York in the United States. Pristine’s experience runs the gamut, from pool houses to home extensions to bathrooms, allowing customers to translate their visions for their perfect home into stunning reality. A commercial organization, family businesses like Pristine are often subject to decision making which is influenced by the generations of a family who either lead or own the firm. Family businesses are often subject to unique dynamics involving the relationships of the principles. The family business is based in business models from the earliest genesis of business buying and selling. The majority of businesses are still family businesses. Despite the fascination with large companies with bureaucratic organizations in the 20th century, the prevalence of family businesses continues today. Keith Klouda enjoyed a stint as a law enforcement officer with the New York Police Department in New York of the United States before partnering with this father George Klouda in KGK Construction Corporation, the family business established by George Klouda. Still the predominant form of business organization for most companies, in some nationalities the largest public firms are family-owned. The designation of family-owned applies to firms where the controlling shareholder is a person who holds at least 20% of the voting rights. Family owned businesses today are over 30% of companies with annual sales of $1 billion or more.
