  2. With constant change in the trends, fireplaces have also gone under a lot of changes. The modern fireplaces are more efficient, elegant and are easy to maintain. And, out of those there are four major types of fireplaces, which are comparatively more in demand.

  3. Direct Vent Fireplaces Direct vent places directly vent and do not require any chimney on the roof. A hole is installed, which is made in the wall. The warming environment, work on the sealed combustion, which help make sure that there is very less heat loss.

  4. Electric Fireplaces Electric fireplaces work as any other equipment, helping to warm the room just like any other modern appliance does. These can be started as soon as you flip of a switch and the warming effects can also be felt sooner. It works just like an air conditioner starts working soon after it’s switched on

  5. Gas Fireplaces Gas fireplaces also let the users enjoy the warmth of that of a fireplace. These warming equipments do not require to feed logs, clean cinders and ash. Rather, propane gas is used for giving the warmth. These fireplaces are available in a wide variety of designs. Use of material like stones, marbles, wood, brick, etc. is common in these types of fireplaces.

  6. Portable Fireplaces These warming fireplaces are light in weight and small in size, so can be easily carried with ease. There is also no need of logs or the chimney for burning it. These portable fireplaces are generally made of steel and copper.
