  1. Online Karate Classes - The Right Way To Go

  2. My favorite yoga teacher is Mart Bastien. She runs a school called: Open Space Yoga. I don't make it to Mary's classes as often as I should. And now that my family and I are living in France, it's impossible to join any of her classes. I wish she had DVDs or offered martial arts Hawaii classes online. I realize watching her on a screen would not be the same as seeing her in person. But I would definitely follow along at home with what I've got.

  3. When I mention our wanting to put the dojo online to our students, I sometimes get confused looks about the whole idea. I think the challenge for a lot of people is trying to grasp how one could replicate the real world in an online environment. I must confess. For years I have been reluctant to offer online training. I shared the same concerns, like how would I engage students and how would I monitor progress. But here I am in France wishing I could get at least of part of Mar'y yoga teachings… If only she offered online classes!

  4. The real benefit on online martial arts training is the ability to learn anytime, anywhere, at any pace. So as we start to see more and more programs migrate to the web, we should refrain from pointing out the things online training cannot achieve and instead focus on the neat things online training can offer.
