  3. Kenya’s Chief Exports Considering Kenya’s vast amount of countryside, why is it not a surprise that these goods make up Kenya’s exports? HOME

  4. HOME One of Kenya’s main attractions are its safaris. Tourists pay to visit the plains of Kenya and view these beautiful animals.

  5. This is the home of a member of the Kikuyu tribe. Based on this picture, what kind of lifestyles do many Kenyans live? Do they rely on the land, the natural resources surrounding them? HOME

  6. People HOME Kenya is home to 40 different ethnic groups, most of whom live in the countryside. Religion: Protestant, Roman Catholicism, Muslim and Indigenous beliefs Language: English, Kiswahili, Indigenous Languages Largest ethnic group: Kikuyu Tribe Most members of this tribe live at the base of Mount Kenya or “Kirinyaga” as spoken in the Kikuyu language.

  14. Uganda is home to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Forest, where half of the world’s mountain gorillas live (approximately 300). What other animals do you think live in this rainforest? HOME

People of Uganda Religion: Roman Catholic, Protestant, Indigenous beliefs, Muslim Language: English, Ganda/Luganda, many local languages This is a woman from the Ganda tribe and she is performing a dance entitled the Amaggunju folk dance. The Ganda tribe is the largest ethnic group in Uganda HOME
