  3. Portugal 1,085.144 (per 1 million people) Belgium 902.788 (per 1 million people) MOBILE PHONE USE →There is a difference of 100 000 subscribers. !! But there are 81.94 phones (per 100 people) in Portugal and78.63 phones (per 100 people) in Belgium

  4. Portugal → Not a lot of discounts → Spend about €5 per week Belgium → Multiple discount possibilities: f.e. “Generation” → Spend about € 10- 15 per month MOBILE PHONE USE discounts

  5. MOBILE PHONE USE Kind and cost of the cell phones • Portugal(Most of the time) →Samsung →Between €99 and €199 →Operator “tmn” • Belgium(Most of the time) →Nokia →Between €99 and €199 → Operator “Proximus”

  6. MOBILE PHONE USE Most used functions Both countries → 1) Text messages (between 0-20 messages per week) 2) Calling 3) Other (listening to music, camera, ...) ! But the quantity of text messages varies between 100 and 300 as well. That’s a question of having discount or not... Rodrigo f.e. has a discount.
