EMPOWERED SURFER ANALOGY of The Physical Ability to develop and maintain the cardiovascular and muscular fitness appropriate to the needs of the sport TECHNICAL An understanding of how surfing works and how to execute the surfing skills while on a wave TACTICAL An ability to strategize when and where to catch and ride the most effective wave for the conditions PSYCHOLOGical The mental skill and strategies to perform at a high level at competition time. EQUIPMENT Choosing, tuning and maintaining the correct equipment for the conditions Ancillary Not sure what to write here just needed a 6th thing to make the analogy.
