  3. Travel to Vancouver – 1 July • Depart Lilliesleaf at 05:30 (BST) – travel by Munro’s bus to Glasgow • Flight at 11:30 (BST) direct to Vancouver – Canadian Affair on a Thomas Cook Airbus A330. Luggage weight limit is 20kg. • Arrive Vancouver 12:35 (PDT) • Meet Brent

  4. 1 July – Travel To Abbotsford • Travel to Abbotsford with Lynch Bus Lines • Journey will take approx. 2 hours • Arrive Abbotsford approx. 3 p.m.

  5. 1 July - Abbotsford The Regency Inn, Abbotsford

  6. Sabir Sisters Fiddle Camp • We are at Abbotsford from Wednesday 1 to Friday 3 July • Performance in concert one evening • Fiddle camp is 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. • Pizza lunch is included on Friday • Camp includes Tutors concert, ceilidh & students concert • Trip to Harrison Hot Springs is being organised for the Friday after the camp ends

  7. Saturday, 4 July Travel to Roberts Creek • Leave Abbotsford in the morning • Travel by Lynch Bus – approx 2 hours plus a 45 minute ferry • Visit to Grouse Mountain & Capilano Gorge on the way

  8. Grouse Mountain &Capilano Gorge Grouse Mountain Skyride 1 mile up to the top of the mountain

  9. Choice: Mountain Ziplining

  10. Or: Capilano Gorge

  11. Roberts Creek • Arrive at Roberts Creek in the evening • Up The Creek Backpackers Hostel

  12. Sunday, 5th July • Need to pick up the cars in Sechelt • Need to get shopping • Sunshine Coast Celtic Music Camp BBQ & Camp Registration in the evening

  13. Sunshine Coast Music Camp • Trad Band starts on Sunday 5 July at 1 p.m. to Friday 10 July • Regular camp starts on Monday 6 July at 8.30 a.m. to Friday 10 July • Classes are morning and early afternoon • There is a dance and a ceilidh and a concert on Friday night • We will be playing at the BBQ, ceilidh and one evening.

  14. Saturday, 11 July • Trip to Powell River is being organised • Includes a ferry trip • Trad Band are performing at Gibsons

  15. Sunday 12th July • Return from Powell River • Cars need to be returned to Sechelt • Rest of day free

  16. Monday 13 July • Leave Roberts Creek • Travel to Vancouver by Lynch bus – approx 2 hours plus ferry trip. • Staying at University of British Columbia campus

  17. Tuesday 14th July Granville Island

  18. Wednesday 15 July • Flight is at 14:35 (PDT) • Lynch bus to take us to airport • Check-in will be 3 hours before i.e. 11:35 • Flight arrives in Glasgow at 07:15 (BST)

  19. Thursday, 16 July • Flight arrives Glasgow at 07:15 (BST) • Travel by Munro bus to Lilliesleaf • Expected arrival at Lilliesleaf around 10:30 (BST)

Conclusion For a lot of hard work we are able to: • Go to Canada for 2 weeks • Visit Abbotsford, Sunshine Coast & Vancouver • Do 2 prestigious fiddle camps • Visit Harrison’s Hot Springs • Visit Grouse Mountain • Visit Capilano Gorge/go Ziplining • Visit Gibsons/Powell River & Granville Island • Play with lots of other musicians • Perform for new audiences
