Idaho Historical Perspective 1991 Idaho Hazardous Substance Response Act SERC State Emergency Response Commission is authorized to create and establish Regional Hazardous Materials Response Teams Goal Strategically locate three regional teams Northern, Southeast, & Southwest The teams will be called into action to assist local governments in the mitigation of emergencies involving hazardous substances that go beyond local response capabilities.
