  1. Muslim Wedding Ceremony Rituals Nikah in Urdu is known as a Muslim wedding. The Muslim Matrimony customs and rituals are different according to the region, but the main purpose of all rituals and customs is to the union of two people in one bond.

  2. Imam-Zamin The groom's mother visit the bride’s house before marriage to present the sweets, Gold or silver coin which are covered in red silk cloth. In case the bride covered her face and show her face to groom and groom’s mothers, then she ties a knot of silk cloth to the bride’s right arm for the couple’s prosperity and happy married life.

  3. Mangni/Engagement It is a formal engagement ceremony where the wedding boy and the girl exchange rings. It is a symbol of acceptance of the bride and groom to each other.

  4. Manjha & Mehendi The bride wears yellow clothes and family and their friends applied a yellow paste to their face and body. Attractive and artistic henna designs are made on the bride’s hands and their feet.

  5. Nikaah & Mehar It is the main and most precious ceremony. The bride and groom sit opposite and the layer of the curtain is installed between them until the Nikah.

  6. Rukhsat It is the time when the brides finally say goodbye the family and ready to move with their husband to their family.

  7. Walima It is the reception which is held by the groom’s family after the marriage where both families and family friends gathered to celebrate and wish them for happy married life.
