  4. INTRODUCTION Mission Uniform is an institution of the Indian armed forces. It is situated in Bareilly Uttar Pradesh INDIA The academy is managed by the Ministry of Defence and is part of the tri-service National Defence College. For more info Click Here

  6. National Defence Academy is an institution of higher learning in India. Established in 1987, it is situated on the foothills of the Himalayas in Pune. The National Defence Academy offers courses on engineering and management for its undergraduate programmes. It also has a school of military sciences, which imparts education in various areas like strategy, intelligence, defence studies, military history and international relations that are necessary for Indian defence forces. What is NDA National Defence Academy is a premier defence institute located in Khadakwasla, Pune, India. It is just a stone's throw from the Military College of Engineering, Army Centre and the Ordnance Depot. The academy is managed by the Indian Army and was established to produce officers for the Indian Armed Forces.

It has been established to cater exclusively to the aspirations and potential of Indian womanhood, and to nurture them to take up responsibilities at higher levels in national life.It provides world-class education and training, grooming young women into future leaders, with an emphasis on patriotism, leadership, civil military relations, defense studies and other courses. The Mission Uniform is the only one of its kind in India. The academy was founded in 2000 and has seen a successful first decade. The NDAW was established to give equal opportunity to women to be officers in the Indian Armed Forces and contribute to development of national security and defence. It has been instrumental in increasing awareness about the role of women as leaders, decision makers and service providers.

  10. Benefits of NDA The National Defence Academy is a residential educational institute for officers of the Indian Armed Forces. It was established on 15 August 1950 at Khadakwasla near Pune in Maharashtra. The institution imparts training to officers from the three defence services, the Army, Navy and Air Force.
