  3. Preface: Gift card is perfect extension for the store owners who wants to Add functionality of Gift product or Gift code in store. Once you enable this extension in your store as described follow it will apply Gift code in cart page Total price. When customer apply some gift code for the cart then first check the code if is valid then apply discount on cart total price as per the configuration setting from backend. www.mageants.com support@mageants.com 3

  4. Installation There are two ways of installing extension in magento2. 1) Using COMMAND LINE. 2) Manually Install extension. Option 1: Magento 2 install extension using COMMAND LINE (Recommended) Follow below steps to install extension from the command line. Step 1: Download the extension and unzip it. Step 2: Upload it to code directory in your magento installation’s app directory If code directory does not exists then create. Step 3: Disable the cache under System -> Cache Management. Step 4: Enter the following at the command line: php bin/magento setup:upgrade Step 5: Once you complete above steps log out and log in back to the admin panel and switch to Stores -> Configuration->Advanced->Advanced, the module will be displayed in the admin panel. Option 2: Magento 2 install extension manually Step 1: Download the extension and unzip it. Step 2: Upload it to code directory in your magento installation’s app directory. If code directory does not exists then create. Step 3: Disable the cache under System -> Cache Management Edit app/etc/config.php file and add one line code: ‘Mageants_Giftcard’ => 1 Step 4: Disable the cache under System -> Cache Management Step 5: Once you complete above steps log out and log in back to the admin www.mageants.com support@mageants.com 4

  6. Create Gift Product from backend catalog→product. Fill General information of product and select Gift card category for that. www.mageants.com support@mageants.com 6

  7. In below fill Gift card Information section as per requirement. Allow only one qty in cart during purchase of gift. Follow this step: www.mageants.com support@mageants.com 7

  8. Gift card create new code list. Fill the General code list information. www.mageants.com support@mageants.com 8

  9. Then save and Continue and move on code list tab for see all generated code. Code list Grid for Gift card. www.mageants.com support@mageants.com 9

  15. After successfully place order Goto My Account page and redirect to Gift card Left panel tab. Where you can see your Gift code and code related other information. After Get code add some product into cart page and apply the Gift Code for that. www.mageants.com support@mageants.com 15

  16. Enter the Gift code into Text box and check the status of that code. you can see the information related to that code. After that you can apply that code then you can see that the gift value is apply on the cart total.
