  1. Reupholster Your Headboard Your bedroom may become much more luxurious by adding an upholstered headboard. It gives a focus point, lets you add your unique flair to the space, and doesn't have to be a difficult or expensive endeavor. Use this straightforward instruction manual to learn how to upholster a headboard. ● Disassemble your headboard If your bed already has a functioning headboard, reupholstering is simple. In this case, take it apart and remove the backing and fabric. If the headboard is attached, you will want a screwdriver to remove the pieces. ● Cut foam Cut the foam to the appropriate shape after placing it on top. Attach the foam to the board firmly. You could also cut the foam to be slightly bigger than the board and use a stapler to attach the excess to the rear of the frame. ● Add upholstery batting Add one or two layers of batting if you want some padding. Be careful to trim 4 to 7 inches of excess batting around the entire frame for tucking to the back if you want soft edges. The batting should be pulled taut before being stapled to the rear of the frame. ● Trim the cloth and wrap it Get the fabric according to the size of your headboard. Use scissors to cut the cloth to size so that all of the corners fold over by about four to five inches. For a finished look, iron the fabric. ● Attach the fabric with staples The last thing you want is a messy finish, so it's crucial to maintain the cloth tight. Staple close to the corner with the Miles stapler, focusing initially on one side before moving to the other. Use plenty of staples for a solid finish. Add the finishing touches to your headboard. Now that your headboard has been recently upholstered, assemble it. Enjoy your new headboard now. Reupholstery with Miles pneumatic tools!
