  3. Key Facts Methodology: Personalised online survey Field phase: June 6th – October 30th 2014 Number of participants: Survey :approx. 2,200 recruiters in 20 countries worldwide. With an additional panel of 2500 executives for the global ranking Target group:Experienced management staff (with at least 5 years experience and/or having experience in working with graduates) responsible for recruitment and selection. Fields of experience:corporate∕business (34.7%), IT (23.9%), engineering (21.2%), other(20.2%), on a global∕internationallevel (64.3%). Company size:55.4% of participants represent companies with 1,000+ employees. Countries: Australia, Brazil, Canada, People’s Republic of China, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Morocco, The Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States of America.

India A place where everybody has an equal chance of studying. Where entry is based on ability rather than financial constraints. An institution that produces graduates whose qualifications are accepted worldwide. Australia I would hope that the need to produce employable graduates will not swamp the essential function of a university, i.e. the original thinking which enables great research leading not only to massive advances in science but also greater cultural, historical and social understanding. United Kingdom More developed and focused on global socioeconomic development. Spain High technology and widely recognized degrees with a wide range of courses. Singapore I think maybe a combination of online classes and internships for hands-on, many of your fields will still require hands on training. Germany A place where students are familiar with the practical world and where study not only gives the opportunity to learn, but also to resolve risk situations using team work.
