  1. Useful tips for planning your Christmas holidays

  2. It’s safe to say that most people found 2018 to be quite a year, and this is why Christmas holidays are something we are all looking forward to. • Christmas is a festive season in most parts of the world, so it’s difficult to avoid Christmas decorations and festivities. A holiday in the midst of such celebrations can do us all a lot of good, and if you are planning your Christmas holidays, these 10 tips will be of use to you.

  3. These 10 tips will be of use to you

  4. Plan ahead Christmas is a time when everyone wants to go on holiday. If you don’t plan ahead, you may not only find that most hotels are fully booked but that flights, long distance trains, etc. are fully booked too. Once the destination and dates are confirmed, look into making booking and reserving tickets. There are many great hotels near Wembley Stadium, like the Wembley Park Hotel, that are perfect for a Christmas holiday.

  5. Look out for deals Christmas time is when hotels put up some too-good-to-be-true deals and offers so don’t miss out on them. Before booking a hotel, look for promotions by London hotels near Wembley Stadium, and make use of these offers.

  6. Don’t overdo it Christmas is a time to relax and enjoy the season, and you won’t be able to do this if you are busy with a tightly packed schedule or itinerary.

  7. Avoid peak days People are either leaving home for the holidays or going home for the holidays. The days right before and after Christmas and December 31st can be very busy, so avoid these days when travelling.

  8. Last minute shopping might be a bad idea

  9. Decide what to do about gifts • Are you going to skip Christmas or give/send them to your family and loved once before you leave or once you return? • If you make plans to stay at Wembley Park Hotel and visit a friend in the area, you may want to take a gift for them. Remember to not wrap the gift beforehand, and to also get something small and packable.

  10. Be prepared • Having a Plan B is always important when travelling during Christmas. What if all the Wembley hotels are booked? What if there are flight delays? What if you are stuck in traffic for a long time? • Always have a Plan B, and also snacks and drinks when travelling.

  11. Pack wisely • Travelling light is always the wisest, but make sure that you are prepared for the weather. Remember to pack outfits suitable for various occasions, like window shopping, Christmas parties, or meals with friends.

  12. Don’t wait until the last minute • Always leave early in case there are unexpected delays. If you are spending Christmas in London and have a booking with one of the budget hotels, London, ask the hotel about how bad traffic can get during this time of the year.

  13. Stick to your budget • While on holiday during Christmas, you may be tempted by deals and promotions, as well as anything that will get you into the holiday spirit. You will be tempted to splurge because it’s the festive season, but remember to stick to your budget and not spend more than you can afford to.
