  2. You are welcome in this sanctuary of faith, prayer and service May your worship with us strengthen your relationship with God and Jesus and with one another

  3. Children are most welcome to worship at Northwood and a nursery is located to the left of this screen for parents and their children (age 2 and under) who need to have some free play. Feel free to come and go from the nursery as needed. Baby Change Room by offices

  6. Today we will sing from More Voices (MV) and Voices United (VU) If you need the music, the books are in the book shelves on either side of the sanctuary.

  7. Coffee during the service You are invited to get a cup of coffee or tea and bring it into the sanctuary.

  8. Easter Purdy’s Fundraiser Pick up your order outside in the parking lot today, after the service! Thank you for your support!

  9. The Junior Youth Group would like to thank everybody who supported SOUPER SUNDAY. We raised $500.00 (and counting!) for the Fred & Jean Carter Fund. A fund supporting children and youth in our congregation. Thank You!

  10. The Jr. Youth group team was awesome and had fun preparing, serving and cleaning up for the event. We ask you to watch for this “fun”draising event again in a few months! Thank You!

  20. United Church Women’s Fashion Show &Tea Saturday, April 30th 1:30 – 3:30 pm Tickets on sale Today! $6.00

  21. The fashion show organizers are looking for any donations of good clothing. If you can help, please bring to the Thrift Store on Tues., Thurs. or Sat. and specify “Fashion Show” on items.

  22. Volunteers needed for Fashion Show set-up – If you can lend a hand, please call Marlene at 778-886-1370. Thanks!

  23. Did You Know? The last Sunday of each month you are invited to bring Food donations for our Emergency Food Cupboard – Please place in Green Box in the “Gathering Place” Thanks. Sunday, April 24

  24. Northwood's AnnualBowling Night Saturday, May 7th 5:30-9pm An All Ages event for anybody who wants to come! Cost: $8/person includes pizza, ice cream& two hours of bowling. Sign up soon! Coming Up…

  25. Save your buckets! Ice creams buckets with lids are needed for a future Junior Youth Group project. Please give them to Christine Wolff or drop them off at Kerry's office.

  26. Jean March (AKA Kitchen Kop) is looking for someone or group to take on the recycling of cans, bottles etc. as soon as possible. The church group that volunteers can keep the money for their projects. If you can help, please call the church office.

  27. Upper Room May/June edition is here in the rack by the bulletin boards $1.35 each

  33. Northwood serves Fair Trade coffee each Sunday. You can also purchase Fair Trade coffee from Christine Wolff – regular $12/lb, decaf $14/lb
