HALIFAX, NOVA SCOTIA, CANADA AND PORTLAND, OREGON, USA - Leaders in the culinary tourism industry in Nova Scotia have joined with local host Taste of Nova Scotia and the International Culinary Tourism Association to launch the One World, One Table Culinary Tourism World Summit video channel at http://www.youtube.com/user/1World1Table. Interviewees include William Allaway, CEO, Canadian Maple Products; Sean Doucet, Director of Operations, Delta Halifax and Chef by trade; Kristi Wenaus, Director of Sales and Partnerships, Nova Scotia Department of Tourism and Culture; Janice Ruddock, Executive Director, Taste of Nova Scotia; and Christophe Luzeux, Executive Chef, World Trade and Convention Centre. Nova Scotia's culinary tourism leaders personally invite culinary tourism colleagues to the September 19-21, 2010 conference in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada through a series of videos focused on the theme of the first inaugural world summit, One World, One Table - Using Culinary Tourism for Economic Development. Local business leaders whose interests lie in the culinary tourism vertical speak out in the videos on what culinary tourism means to them, the importance of attendance at the conference and what one should expect of a Halifax, Nova Scotia experience. "It was not difficult to secure enthusiastic supporters of the World Summit to participate in the videos and take the opportunity to welcome the world to our fabulous city and province," states Janice Ruddock, Executive Director, Taste of Nova Scotia. "Our entire culinary tourism community is thrilled to be hosting this exciting event and looks forward to sharing our success stories and hearing best practices from attendees and presenters over the three day event focused on in-depth learning but with a lot of Nova Scotian fun on the side," she adds.
