  2. ABOUT DR PERRY HERMAN Perry Herman, MD, FPMR, is a board-certified physiatrist specializing in nonsurgical treatment of neck and back pain, musculoskeletal and sports injuries. He offers a holistic approach to the treatment of acute and chronic pain by taking a body and mind approach to restoring wellness. In additional to utilizing traditional scientifically-proven pain methodologies, he also incorporates a ‘whole person’ strategy to overcoming pain as a result of injury, disease or dietary sensitivities. Dr. Herman attended medical school at Ohio State University and completed his internship and residency training at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey. Patients should be aware there may be out-of-pocket expenses during the course of treatment. If you will be utilizing medical insurance, review your medical insurance policy coverage by calling the customer service number on the back of your insurance card. For patients paying out-of-pocket, we accept personal checks and major credit cards, with the exception of American Express, but cannot accept cash.
