  2. New Odia Book Sundarakanda By Dr.RamachanraShadangi Sundarakanda, which translates to beautiful incident book, is the fifth book in the Ramayana, a Hindu epic. It narrates Hanumans journeys. The first person to scripturally record the Ramayana was Valmiki, who also wrote the original Sundara Kanda, which is written in Sanskrit. The only chapter of the Ramayana in which Hanuman rather than Rama serves as the protagonist is Sundara Kanda. In the text,Hanuman strength, altruism, and devotion to Rama are stressed. Hanumans mother Anjani and Sage affectionately referred to him as Sundara. Given that the main focus of this Kand is Hanumans journey to Lanka, Valmiki choose this name above others. The Telugu version of Sundarakanda Story is available in this app in 12 chapters. The Sundara Kanda, which is the core of Valmiki's Ramayana, is a thorough and vivid recounting of Hanuman's exploits. After finding out about Sita, Hanuman transforms into a gigantic being and, after battling Surasa, the mother of the Nagas and Sinhika, who is sent by the Devatas, makes a titanic leap across the ocean to Lanka.Hanuman looks for Sita in Lanka and locates her at Ashoka Vatika. In the Ashoka Vatika, Sita is courted and intimidated into marrying Ravana by him and his demonic mistresses. She is reassured by Hanuman, who presents Rama's signet ring as a token of his good faith. Sita declines his offer to carry her back to Rama since she doesn't want to be saved by anybody but Then, Hanuman causes destruction in Lanka by razing buildings and trees and killing Ravana's soldiers. He consents to being apprehended and brought before Ravana. He challenges Ravana to free Sita with a forceful speech. He is condemned and his tail is set on fire, but he escapes his bonds and, leaping from roof to roof, sets fire to Ravana's citadel and makes the giant leap back from the island.
