Marshall, Esq. reviewed and negotiated commercial leases for retail spaces and contracts for franchise. • She also represented real estate developers obtaining affordable housing loans, construction loans, tax abatement applications, and successfully lobbied and orchestrated forty-year tax abatement for the renovation construction of an affordable housing apartment complex. • Rachel maintained a landlord-tenant practice through the State of New Jersey. • She represented landlords and housing nonprofits in tenant eviction matters.

She Formerly Worked as Acting Chief Executive Officer Volunteer at Brand New Day, Inc. • She oversaw the reorganization and structuring of 30-year-old private non-for-profit community development corporation. • She did this for the purpose of enhancing the quality of life for low to moderate income individuals, youth and families through the development and preservation of affordable housing, education, and economic development.
