  1. 10 of The Best Eat-out Interiors In India

  2. The Delhi Club House, RK Puram, New Delhi– With a colonial feel that reminds of you the clubs from the British Raj, you can definitely find yourself propelled back in time. The definite must-haves here include the egg sandwiches and the cold coffee, for breakfast, while you relax by the pool. With Headlight Design, assisted by Ava Studio, at the helm of the interior design, you’ll be surrounded by white-washed walls, snooker-table-green accents and an antique-looking bar. Get ready for an elite experience, which will definitely give you a lot of wall decoration ideas.

  3. The Black Rabbit, Indiranagar, Bengaluru: The Black Rabbit completely turns the taboo of eating in a barn on its head. Apart from pristine brick-tile flooring and wood-paneled walls, you’ll even see beautiful wooden rafters. With a distinctly farmland feel to the entire affair, you can see the day’s menu written, or drawn, on chalkboards above the bar. Completing the picture are 16 large, hand painted bells that hang from the centre of the ceiling, and function as lights. Definitely a lot of wall decoration ideas when you get down to it!

  4. Craft, Kurla, Mumbai: Revamping the idea of dining inside a mall, Craft is the masterpiece of architect SameepPadora. Following the idea that everyone in the restaurant should be able to see each other, the design allows diners in the private booth to watch the chefs at work and the bartenders make them drinks. With ceiling-to-floor wooden semi-arches, you may be forgiven if you feel like you in the veritable belly of the beast. With exposed light bulbs by the horde and an sun-lit alfresco area outside, you will never turn your nose up at having a meal in the mall again, if you make it to Craft, and you’ll definitely walk away with a ton of wall decoration ideas in the bargain.

  5. Lima, BandraKurla Complex, Mumbai– Faded grandeur is the mood of the hour, when you come in to Lima. This new Peruvian-inspired lounge comes with a blue and brass-finished bar, which forms the focus of the restaurant, and contrasts directly with the taupe walls. The glass-like ceiling may give you a slight sense of vertigo, though! With sunlight streaming through the white shutter doors in the day, the evening is lit up by classical chandeliers, which sets the stage for Pisco Sours and a Peruvian-style celebration. While implementing any wall decoration ideas inspired from Lima may seem expensive, but the end result will definitely be worth it.

  6. Bar Palladio, Narayan Singh Circle, Jaipur: The only place where you can see Venice meeting Jaipur. Replete with a blue and white tableau of design elements, which seem both iconic, and also give a strong sense of both the cities. This fantastic watering hole, designed by Marie-Anne Oudejans, the Dutch designer who is at the helm of fashion label Tocca, has a story to tell at every turn, and will give you a host of wall decoration ideas! Bar Palladio echoes with a sense of the gentlemen’s clubs of the past, with European furniture, Mughal art, block prints and colours all meshing well with each other.

  7. The Piano Man Jazz Club, Safdarjung, New Delhi– With an energy around it like few others, this jazz café seems to come straight out of New Orleans’ Frenchmen Street. With cast iron balconies, arched frameworks, and green hanging planters, you even have a beautiful stage that comes with a paneled vintage mirrored wall as its backdrop and a chandelier that is made up of 58 trumpets. The red brick-clad walls has the names of jazz legends inscribed, but the real show stealer is the bar. Inspired by piano keys, it is made up of hand-cut wooden chips. While the wall decoration ideas from this place may be a little surreal, and out-of-reach, you can definitely scale things down and try your hands at a few smaller designs!

  8. Malabar Junction, Fort Kochi, Kochi: Packaged in with Fort Kochi’s delightful Malabar House Hotel, the Malabar Junction, designed by German owner JoergDrechsel, to have as much of the local culture of Kochi as is possible. With masterpieces by local artists and craftsmen dotting the space, you can chose to either sit in the courtyard by the swimming pool, or upstairs in the wine lounge. All the furniture has been taken from a defunct but historical Fort Kochi eatery, and your stay here will leave you with a ton of wall decoration ideas to choose from.

  9. The Table, Colaba, Mumbai- With a vibe that is clearly resembling that of a San Francisco wine bar, the Table comes with bold colours and a freshness that is impressive, and can give you a host of wall decoration ideas. Designed by architect Tarik Currimbhoy, the construction was done with the help of local craftsmen, especially for the hand-chiseled black kadappa stone on the walls and the staircase leading up to the mezzanine. With an imposing Burma teak community table as the focus of the room, the picture is completed with the help of twelve-foot high French windows, that throw natural light on the chevron-patterned floor, and mother-of-pearl wall tiles.

  10. Social HauzKhas, New Delhi – Offering a stunning view of the HauzKhas monument, and the lake, Social gives off a sense of quiet contemplation. With 100% recycled furniture, juxtaposed with grungy industrial elements, you will find bare walls that have been purposely left unfinished, with naked bulbs dangling from the ceiling, definitely some interesting wall decoration ideas to explore. Completing the picture are squishy leather sofas and communal dining tables. During the day, Social is used as an office space, with an boardroom, conference facilities and high-speed wifi. By night, though, the party takes over as the Social turns into a high-powered bar.
