  1. Tina Ambani's effort takes Cancer Care to Solapur

  2. Solapur in Maharashtra is all set to become a regional healthcare destination

  3. As Reliance Hospital has opened a new Cancer Care Centre in the city

  4. This was done on 5th September this year

  5. Given that Maharashtra has the 2nd highest incidence of cancer in the country

  6. Reliance Hospitals proposes to set-up 18 cancer care centres across Western India

  7. Last year 2 cancer centers were launched

  8. Gondia Akola In Akola and Gondia

  9. This is in line with Tina Ambani’s belief

  10. That world-class healthcare should not be the privilege of a few but the right of all Indians

  11. The highlight is the advanced TrueBeam® medical linear accelerator.

  12. The equipment delivers high-precision radiation therapy to treat tumours in all parts of the body.

  13. The machine works wonders for difficult-to-reach areas

  14. Like the brain, or when the tumour is close to a critical organ

  15. The centres also offer advanced chemotherapy as per modern medical protocols

  16. Also, the centres will be empanelled with the Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Jan Arogya Yojana

  17. This will enable the eligible beneficiary families to avail of advanced cancer care treatment.

  18. The center has a full-time radiation oncologist

  19. A team of technicians and qualified nursing staff for cancer care.

  20. The team will also work to educate people and spread awareness, on early detection of cancer, screening and diagnosis

  21. “With this third Cancer Care Centre in Solapur, we are now well on the way to deliver our promise to bring the best in modern cancer care to patients in Tier II and Tier III towns and rural India” says Tina Ambani
