  2. Dos and Don’ts for College Applications Heading into the admissions process and not sure of what to Do or what Not? We’ve brought up some key things you might want to do and some others that you would like to avoid (like becoming a dilly-dallier and then rushing for the last minute entries). https://www.rightc3.com/

  3. DO’S 1. Invest your time and focus to Plan. Planning and working ahead of time will make the application process less stressful and more successful. 2. Organize important stuff. Find a way to give your memory some assistance when it comes to remembering important info while applying. Consider maintaining some schedule book, online calendar program, or sticky notes. 3. Inquire. Don’t hesitate to reach out to the admissions departments if you have questions or need any information about the institution and its application process. 4. Plan ahead for financial aid. Start researching for scholarships, grants, and loans alongside your application process–an early start can prove instrumental in securing funds for college. 5. Research target colleges. Use any of the available options to help you learn about institutions, be it the school websites, admissions personnel or guidebooks and other online resources. Create a list of your potential targets. https://www.rightc3.com/

  4. DON’T 1. Be a slowpoke and lurch around in half sleep because you began the application process just a few hours before the midnight deadline. 2. Apply to every college on the list. Don’t assume ‘more is better’ (at least with college applications). Do your research before applying. 3. Nag the admissions department constantly. Don’t be one among those over enthusiastic applicants who call admissions offices repeatedly. 4. Make assumptions regarding the finances. Do check for the financial aids offered by the most expensive colleges before assuming they are out of your pocket reach. 5. Overthink and stress yourself. Applying to college is crucial and challenging – but it’s not the end of the world. Make sure you find time for the things you’re passionate about in life, throughout the process and otherwise. https://www.rightc3.com/
